The Chinese "Christmas" is fascinating and contradictory. China is not a religious country, and it is probably not a good idea to believe in Western religious observances.

Christmas in foreign countries is usually celebrated on Christmas Eve, 24 December. For foreigners, people mainly celebrate Christmas Eve by having a big meal, hosting bonfires, family parties, playing games and going to church for a blessing .......

On Christmas Eve, a gift called a "peace fruit" is passed around quietly in people's hands, signifying peace and happiness when they eat it. But giving or eating Christmas fruit on Christmas Eve is not a foreign custom, it is only in China.
2. Entertainment
In the West, Christmas Eve is generally a time to gather with family and wait for the traditional 'good news' and the distribution of gifts by Father Christmas.
In China, Christmas is like Valentine's Day in the West, where people use the day for their own entertainment. Most people go out to party with friends, watch movies, sing karaoke or go shopping.
Young couples have always seen it as a romantic day and will go out together on dates, holidays, to ski resorts or amusement parks.
3. Send a blessing
When Christmas comes, people send their best wishes to friends and relatives by sending postcards, WeChat, QQ, SMS, emails, red envelopes, etc. A delicate, illustrated and cheerful e-card also sends a lot of warmth and emotion in the gradually warming winter.
