The temperature rise test is a routine test for our LED lights, generally we need to do the temperature rise test in the development of LED lights to confirm the life span and safety factor of the light. Is the temperature rise test an OK way to determine if the product is OK for thermal issues? Is the temperature maintained within its specified temperature range during normal operation with other electronic components?
This is because certain electronic parts can cause fire, explosion or electric shock hazards when working at high temperatures for long periods of time. The temperature rise test tests the temperature of the electrolytic capacitors in a high bottom temperature environment and calculates the life of the electrolytic capacitors, which is one of the factors that determines the life of the product and to determine the life expectancy of this light and the safety specifications for its use.

Coverable, use ADAYO lighting regular wooden box, put 6 layers of 50mm inside the wooden box, equivalent to 300mm rock wool; (rock wool needs to be close to the lamp body shell and power supply shell).
We use to come down and operate the temperature rise test:
1. Using temperature-sensitive wire, sticky point on the surface of the device under test. First of all, confirm whether the temperature sensing of the temperature-sensitive wire is normal, in addition to the temperature-sensitive wire needs to be firmly and tightly attached to the surface of the device under test.
2. Adjust the temperature of the thermostat to 25℃ for room temperature and 40℃for high temperature.
Thermostat state requirements: The constant temperature box works for at least 1 hour, and the temperature change inside the box does not exceed 2℃.。
Thermostat state requirements:Take the lowest radiator of the lamp and the outermost diameter as the benchmark, horizontal/vertical distance 8-12CM.
The lamp is hung vertically in the middle of the thermostat, should not touch the thermostat, the bottom of the lamp body needs to maintain a distance of 5CM from the lowest part of the box.
3. Adjusting the regulator to the value of the test voltage according to the operating range of the power supply.
4. Recording the corresponding temperature data of the device under test.
After the temperature rise test is completed, we will issue the following temperature rise test report to the project team to evaluate whether the solution is feasible.
