Japan: Labor Day falls on "Golden Week".
Thailand: Thailand first enacted labor regulations in 1932, and subsequently established May 1 each year as National Labor Day to honor hard-working workers.
Africa:
Egypt: Known as Labor Day on May 1, is considered a paid holiday. Traditionally, the President of Egypt presides over the official May Day celebrations in Cairo.
South Africa: In South Africa, a public holiday on May 1 every year since 1994.
