TPD the full name is “Technical Product Documentation”, it is one of the necessary documents before the new products mass production, and also is one of the inspector's inspection standard documents. How about TDP of led down light? it roughly contains the following 9 documents like a products inspection manual:
1. Cover page:
Cover page content includes detail information like Item NO. SKU,12NC, led down light color, sales area, description and so on.
2. Functional Requirement Specification
This documents of led down light with 5 parts:
Revision Log: for all of the led down light project, revision from the original design as the indeed products and the person who take charge of this revision.
Product & Project Information: usually show the information of the led down light whole project information as group, family, warranty, application and operating environment.;
Products List: the full list of led down light with 12nc, description and picture;
Specifications as per Models: the detail specification of each led down light with different SKU.
General Requirements: some requirements of this led down light, just like: Anti-corrosion Level: NSS (ISO 9227) 24 hours, RA/P=8 (ISO10289),No light leakage on the front surface.Should have protection sleeve on the spring clip.Cosmetic: according to Visual Appearance Criteria Components Version 1_0 @ STANDARD (S) level.Front surface warp (in-flatness) max. 1mm for 4" and below, max. 1.5mm for 5" and above.
3. Exploded Drawing / Assembly Drawing:
a) All components except wire and wire sleeve should be included into this drawing.
b) All component should be marked out by number.
c) Drawing resolution should be high enough to ensure all details clear.
d) Exploded Drawing / Assembly Drawing is only used to explain "Additional Construction Remarks" below. PHILIPS Product engineer can exempt drawing from this section in case it is not needed.
e) Howere, produt outer dimensions (length, width and height) should ALWAYS be illustrated here. NO EXEMPTION.
4. Key Components List:
a) QPL attaches approbation product report(the part of key component and required markings in the report).
b) If no approbation report, key component list should be added by QPL.
c).Supplier insert picture of key components (including marking plate of driver, ballast, transformer, lamp holder, PCB layout, control device..).
5. Package and label:
Show the detail package information included color box, carton, package way. Pallet.etc.
6. ORT: On-running Test as per the QTP
7. QC-inspection specification sheet: show each inspected led down light quality level.
8. General defect classification : Check List-Defect included safety test, function checking, appearance and package information check.
