The general height of the lamp body reaches 55mm or more to be deep anti-glare, and some lamp bodies even reach a height of 100mm. Therefore, the ceiling needs to be reserved according to the length of the lamp body, and the corresponding ceiling height is 60-110mm.
Black cup anti-glare
Funnel-shaped lamp cups play the role of light gathering, the most common lamp cups using electroplating process, looks like a glossy silver surface. The light source reflects the light through the cup, and the light effect varies from cup to cup.
Black cup instead of the traditional electroplated lamp cups can reduce light leakage and achieve anti-glare. Among them, matte black cups and better anti-glare effect than glossy black cups. But because of the reduction of reflected light, so the black cup anti-glare brightness has some loss.
Honeycomb anti-glare
Honeycomb anti-glare is to add a honeycomb plate in the lamp cup to play the role of shielding, reducing glare leakage. The effect of honeycomb anti-glare is also good, but it will also lose some brightness.
Optical anti-glare
Optical anti-glare is also done on the cup, through the optical design of the diamond cut, multiple reflective light source to avoid direct light into the eyes, to achieve the anti-glare effect. The advantage of optical anti-glare is that both anti-glare, and will not lose brightness.
Frosted lampshade anti-glare
Frosted lampshade anti-glare, add a frosted lampshade to the lamp body, such as frosted glass, fabric glass, frosted acrylic, etc. Frosted lampshade will lose some brightness.
The advantage is that even if a person stands under the lamp and looks up, it will not be subject to direct light source. Frosted shade anti-glare can make the sense of glare is reduced, but if the brightness is too high, the presence of the light source is still very strong.
Multi-Glare
The more levels of anti-glare, the better the anti-glare effect. "Double anti-glare" and "triple anti-glare" generally mean that the corresponding products apply several anti-glare effects.

In fact, downlight and spotlight anti-glare effect is the result of a combination of factors, with anti-glare design, light source type, beam angle, etc. are related. General household light, just look at the UGR (Unified Glare Rating) value of the light, which is the anti-glare index.
The national standard "GB50043-2004 Architectural Lighting Design Standard" has relevant regulations on the UGR values of different scenes, UGR＜25, UGR＜22, UGR＜19 are more commonly used for home lighting to achieve better anti-glare effect, it is recommended to choose the light source with UGR＜19. Of course, there is no need to pursue the ultimate low UGR value.
