The difference between SMD and COB
1. Different production efficiency
SMD: SMD's production efficiency is low.
COB: The production efficiency of COB is higher than that of SMD.
2. The light quality is different
SMD: SMD's discrete device combination exists point light, glare.
COB: COB's perspective is large and easy to adjust, there is no point light, glare.
3. The process is different
SMD: is the LED chip with conductive and insulating adhesive fixed on the pad of the lamp bead holder, and then use the same conductive performance welding and COB package, performance testing, epoxy resin adhesive encapsulation, and then the process of spectroscopy, cutting and playing braided tape, transported to the screen factory.

4. The technology is different
SMD: LED during the need to first surface mounted devices, and then fixed on the PCB board by way of reflow soldering.
COB: no need to mount and reflow soldering process, COB light source directly applied to the led light.
