Microwave induction switch: Also known as microwave radar, it uses the Doppler principle of electromagnetic waves to do this. We know that any wave has a reflective property and when a wave of a certain frequency hits a barrier, a portion of the wave is reflected back. If the obstruction is stationary, the wavelength of the reflected wave is constant, if the obstruction is moving towards the source, the wavelength of the reflected wave is shorter than that of the source, if the obstruction is moving away from the source, the wavelength of the reflected wave is longer than that of the source. A change in wavelength means a change in frequency. Microwave sensing knows when a moving object is approaching or moving away precisely by the change in reflected waves. Therefore, we know that microwave induction mainly reacts to the movement of the object (human body), thus the reaction speed is fast and suitable for detecting objects close to or far from the microwave sensor at a certain speed, for example, people walking at a certain speed through a certain place can be easily detected with microwaves.

 

Infrared sensor switch: The infrared detector probe works by detecting infrared rays emitted by the human body or other objects. The probe collects infrared radiation from the outside world by gathering it to the infrared sensing source. The infrared sensing source is usually a pyroelectric element, which releases an electrical charge when it receives infrared radiation with a change in temperature, which is detected and processed to produce an alarm. In the field of electronic security detectors, infrared detectors are used in a wide range of applications. The advantages of infrared detectors are that they do not emit any type of radiation themselves, the device consumes very little power, is well concealed and is inexpensive. Reacts to the presence of objects, whether they are moving or not, as long as they are within the scanning range of the sensor.
