Usually the packaging cost include three parts: packaging material, packaging auxiliary and labor costs.
As a led lighting OEM/ODM manufacturer, different customers have different requirements of the packages. We can roughly divide customers package into three categories according to different sales models: Brand distributors, wholesalers and E-commerce/foreign trade company. And There are five major factors affecting packaging: material, color, manual, inner card, craftsmanship, label, size and shape.
Material: the weight and the surface treatment is the key factors affecting. Usually, it can pass the drop test and stack test as the standard, if some famous brands do boutique packaging.
Color: white and black color cost=single color< 2C<3C<4C<4C+1 , so if you want cheaper package cost, we will choose the single color print.
Manual: size, color, quantity and the folding method. So usually we suggest use A4 size and sample fold, black word.
Inner card: We suggest don’t to use an internal card or bag if it is not necessary.
Craftsmanship: the color box and the inner card, use different cut art, the cost is different.
Label: label usually used for the bar code. So if you can print this in the color box, do not use a sticker, it waste materials and labor. If you can use paper label, please don’t use silver label.
Size and shape: of cause the size and shape determine the cost, so just is perfect.
There are also have a special cost: laser. Usually 1P<2P<3P<4P+. if you can use laser, please don’t use label. Because laser is a machine, but label stick is labor.
