Then Sean and Lucy, the heads of the marketing and sales team, respectively summarized the offline sales and online traditional business in the first half of the year. ADAYO lighting mainly focuses on offline traditional business. Although this year has experienced raw material price increases, IC short-term and other situations, However, the order of ADAYO lighting has not been affected, but has increased. Online business is a new online platform developed by the company under the influence of the epidemic, mainly including 1688 domestic wholesale and foreign independent stations, coupled with social media YouTube, Facebook and other assistance, is also showing initial results.
Wolf Sun, the R&D department of the Lamp Bar, made a project report. In the first half of this year, the research and development mainly focused on assisting customers to upgrade the new ERP. Among the 13 pre-researched projects, the order for the module GU10 has been placed, and the adjustable hole downlight is also in the sample test, customer orders will be placed next week. At the same time, 80% of other new projects are reported by customers, and more than 30% are in the mold opening process. There are also about 20% of the projects that customers are not very interesting in it and need to be adjusted and designed separately.
EVONNE, who is in charge of shipping and documentary in the late-stage internal affairs department, summarized the shipment situation in the first half of the year. Although the first half of the year has been in a situation of lack of cabinets, blocked ports, and difficult shipments, the overall shipment rate has reached 90% and the situation is expected to be more severe in the second half of the year. Now many shipping agent and shipping company don’t know when the container will arrived, but they asked advance declaration, otherwise it will affect warehousing or generate late declaration fees, so this area is particularly difficult to control. At present, our company expects that there will be a backlog of 3 cabinets in the warehouse and waits shipping companies to release the container.
In addition, at the request of a new colleague, Judy, who is in charge of the business, shared some skills of new customer development and price negotiation. After listening to the summary of more than ten years of business experience, the new colleagues all seriously thought and took notes.
Moreover, HUGO, the artwork designer, made a detailed report based on packaging material optimization and cost control, which is the first time a packaging designer talks about cost control projects. Due to our company is an OEM/ODM manufacturing plant, basically more than 95% of our customers are customized packaging. Packaging design directly affects cost and quotation, so packaging material optimization and cost control have great reference value for our business quotation.
