Salt spray tester is to judge whether the parts have certain corrosion resistance by assessing the salt spray corrosion ability of the parts and their protective layer. This test is typically used in determination verification, material or supplier changes or design changes.
ADAYO lighting neutral salt spray test specific experimental procedures are as follows:
1. Prepare the salt solution and test the pH value of the prepared salt solution with an acid-base meter. Then pour the configured salt solution into the test chamber through the test drug inlet.
2. Open the top cover of the equipment, the parts or finished products that need to be salt spray experiment placed on the screen of the equipment. Then turn on the power switch, operation switch, spray, timing switch and set the test chamber temperature and test time.
3. The test reaches the set time automatically stop, the test is completed. The national standard salt spray test cycle is 16H, 24H, 48H, 96H, 168H, 336H, 672H. ADAYO lighting neutral salt spray test should pay attention to the following matters:
1. The salt used in the test should be high quality sodium chloride and the total content of impurities should not exceed 0.3% when dried.
2. The concentration (mass ratio) of the salt solution is (5±1)%.
3. The pH of the salt solution should be within 6.5-7.2, beyond which it can be adjusted with hydrochloric acid or sodium hydroxide.
4. After spraying the solution can not be used again, and the temperature of the test chamber should be maintained within 35±2 ℃, the temperature of the cleaning water after the test should not exceed 35 ℃ and try to avoid hand contact with the surface of the specimen before the test.
At the end of the test, unless there are relevant regulations, the sample should be rinsed under tap water for 5min, then cleaned with distilled water or deionized water, then shaken or dried with airflow to remove water droplets, and finally visually inspected. The surface of the ceiling light fixture or the material shall not be oxidized, blackened and plated layer, paint shall not be peeled then the test is considered to be passed.
