The heart of the LED is a semiconductor wafer with one end of the wafer attached to a holder with a negative terminal at one end and the other end connected to the positive terminal of the power supply, so that the whole wafer is encapsulated by epoxy resin. A semiconductor wafer consists of two parts, one is a P-type semiconductor in which holes dominate, and the other end is an N-type semiconductor in which electrons dominate on this side. However, when these two semiconductors are connected, a P-N junction is formed between them. When current acts on this wafer through the wire, electrons are pushed into the P region, where they compound with holes and then emit energy in the form of photons, the principle of luminescence.
This SMD LED downlight with CCT3 is 8S1B*2. It is made of Iron which the melting point of iron is 1535 ℃ and it can be covered by insulation directly.
